On February 7, on the occasion of the birthday of the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi, the General Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan together with the regional prosecutor's office, regional education and culture departments and the Regional Council of the Youth Union held an event. The event was attended by children from Samarkand orphanages and SOS Children's Village.
An exhibition of paintings by talented children from the orphanage was organized in the lobby of the theater. The event was opened by the deputy regional prosecutor S. Astonov.
Pupils of the orphanage shared excerpts from the works of Navoi. The prosecutors presented books to talented students. Later, the participants watched the performance of the Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater “Colorful Samarkand”.
