Famous actor of the Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Rustam Mansurov (1913-1996).
People's Artist of Uzbekistan Rustam Mansurov spent his whole life working on the stage of the Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater. His comrades who went on stage with him from the moment he took his first step on the stage with Zohid Sodikov, Zainab Sodikova, Kifoyat Muslimova, Bako Tajiev, Aisha Mavlonova, Sora Shukurova, Lola Egamberdieva, Oppokwa Mukimova, Melik Irmatov Makhmudov and many others. He was known as a performer of the image of leading heroes of different nature. The image of the fathers, especially of the same age and attention, as well as a negative or positive character, were the defining characteristics of the actor's work.
